To open a bank account in an online solution such as Transferwise or Revolut Business, you usually need two documents of your company:
- The Entry in the Registry
- The Articles of Association

In some online applications, you can find a field asking for a Power of Attorney. This is only if the bank account opening process is being carried out by someone who is not a member of the board of directors of the company, but by an employee, such as a secretary or treasurer.
In that case, you will need to give this person a digitally signed power of attorney that authorizes he or she to open the account on behalf of the company. If one of the members of the board is in charge of opening the bank account for the company, you don’t need this document and can ignore this field.
